Your zine

Prints you keep end up here, up to twelve pages. They stay in this browser.

    The community poster

The National WWI Museum and Memorial opens on a glass bridge over 9,000 poppies; each stands for a thousand combatants who died. This poster is printed from everyone who visits here. Add one poppy a day.

    The visitors’ show

Prints from visitors, hung once they’ve been through the crit. Hang one of yours from your zine.

    1. The walls are bare. For now.

    About the studio

Everything here prints the way a riso does: each drum carries one ink, the ink goes down through a dot screen, the paper takes it a little unevenly, and the second drum never lands exactly on the first: printers call that off register. Pull the same page twice and you'll get two different prints. That's the point.

The kits are drawn from eight Kansas City places: buildings, objects, the feel of a room. Nobody's artwork is copied; the art is whatever you make with them.

Not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these museums or galleries. Go see the real ones; they're better in person.
